HELP! Telemarketer #@!holes!!!? I can%26#039;t believe they%26#039;re still doing this. It should be illegal! We keep getting the same phone calll everyday, telling us the warranty is almost up on our car... yada yada yada. And I have spoken to them SEVERAL TIMES telling them to remove my number from their list. And before I have finished my sentence, they abruptly say, %26quot;Yes ma%26#039;am we%26#039;ll remove you from our list.%26quot; -and they hang up quickly. But they dont remove my number. And I still answer the phone everyday and here that F-ing automated message! Does anyone know how I can get them to stop? How can I block the number if I don%26#039;t have caller ID on my phone? In my view, this is the BEST way to REPEL potential customers. Do they think annoying folks is a dignified way to get business?

they call my house everyday also. The same messages and I too have asked them to not call. And they do. I have caller ID and they use MANY, MANY different numbers. It would be impossible to block all of them. Also its a scam, not an actual offer. I know this because they can not legally sell us a warranty on our vehicle. It has way to many miles. SO they are just trying to get your money or information to steal your money.
Sorry I have no idea how to get rid of them. I just wanted to let you know you are not alone with these buttwipes!!

Thanks. I%26#039;m going to get a device that blocks spam calls. We%26#039;ll see if it works.

  • Why don%26#039;t you say %26quot;can you hang on for a second%26quot; and then just put the phone down on the counter. Start up the blender, bang some pots and pans, make all kinds of noise. Better yet, if you have a small child who can%26#039;t quite talk yet, put them on the phone. Do this every time they call. See if the calls don%26#039;t stop after a few days!
  • If your warranty is almost up on your car...that could be the dealership calling....they would actually not be entitled to follow the do not call list.
I would suggest filing a complaint with the better business bureau.
