Do you buy the products and then sell them or do you just sell the product?
Do you have to sell a certain amount of product to keep your job or does it not matter?
Does anyone have any advice how to really push your product?
I%26#039;m not in school and I%26#039;m just starting a new job and I%26#039;m shy so I don%26#039;t really know how I%26#039;d be able to sell Avon but I%26#039;d like to try as a second job.
Any info will help thanks

A campaign is a two week selling period. You need to place an order at least every 3rd campaign for your account to remain active. You can ask your supervisor if you can leave brochures in the break rooms. Let your friends, family and neighbors know that you sell. I can answer more specific questions and offer you more tips if you are interested. Just email me from my profile page.Other Answers (2)

You buy the products for the customer at a discount and then sell them, but there is no up-front purchasing except for brochures, samples, and bags (which are really inexpensive) and if you go to a meeting they usually have a couple brochures for you and samples, and sometimes extra bags.
You don%26#039;t have to sell a certain amount per campaign-but what you sell will depend on how much you make...although your first 4 campaigns you make 50% (or 20% on licensed products) if you don%26#039;t make any purchases for a certain amount of campaigns your leader will have to re-instate you.
Samples help sell the product and of course the more people you talk to about it and give out brochures the easier it will be to find customers-do the training on-line to get knowledge about the products and read the brochures. Ask your friends and family what they thought about a product they bought or sample they tried. The more you know, the easier it will be to answer questions-but if you don%26#039;t know, just ask your leader.
AVON is great because you don%26#039;t have to be pushy-all you have to do is get some brochures, labels, and a couple samples and ask your friends, family, neighbors etc to try it-check out the brochures etc. You can just leave brochures at different places as well.
There are also web-sites and even a Yahoo group that will help you with ideas. Good luck! -
I%26#039;m a man but I called on Avon customers when my wife was ill. I just delivered the catalogues and called back about a week later and collected the catalogues and orders. It was a pleasant job, so much so that I%26#039;ve now started my own company called %26quot;Health and Beauty Supermarket%26quot; selling mostly natural cosmetics and natural health products. I need agents in some areas. I pay about the same commissions as Avon but I want people to be part of the company so I give company shares as well which you can sell when you want to. e-mail if you%26#039;d like further details.
