You can try to call the hospital. If they have sold the debt to a collection agency, they%26#039;ll tell you and you will have to pay the agency. If the agency is only hired, then you can pay the hospital. Even if you pay the hospital will be listed because it%26#039;s part of your history that you defaulted. Still, it%26#039;s better to have an old delinquency than an open collection.
