The comp. companies are processing thousands of claims and they are trying to beat deadlines for response time. So, they put them in order of when the answers are due and try to work through them as fast as they can. But due to the large number of claims going through the system they get bogged down and it ends up being close to the deadline.
Having an attorney never speeds things up. It actually slows things down because they have to funnel paperwork back and forth between the two offices (the w.c. carrier and your attorney). Well, it%26#039;s not %26quot;even%26quot; with a lawyer. Having a lawyer slows down your case, drastically. Expect it to take about 3X as long as the guy without the lawyer.
