Can you buy with on Ebay with an unconfirmed Paypal? (10 Points)? I%26#039;ve been trying to buy this item on Ebay, only to find out that I have to wait 3-5 days to finally buy it. I was really cheesed off. I%26#039;ve already verified the bank to the paypal. But Paypal says that they made a small deposit to the bank, but it usually takes 3-5 days for the deposit to show up. Its been the second day, now, and I have wanted to buy this particular item, but its ending in an hour or so. I%26#039;m not sure if I%26#039;m able to buy it, since my Paypal hasn%26#039;t been unconfirmed. Am I able to pay for it?

You could ask the seller if it%26#039;s okay that you bid/buy the item, but you are in the process of being confirmed by Paypal and it will take a few days for you to make payment. Most sellers won%26#039;t mind waiting a few days for payment -- once you are confirmed, the seller is protected as well. Once you buy an item, you have 7 days to pay before a seller can file an Unpaid Item Dispute. If you don%26#039;t hear from the seller before the auction is over, don%26#039;t be discouraged. There are very few unique items on eBay; I%26#039;m sure you%26#039;ll find what you are looking for at the right price. Good luck.

  Just buy the item and explain to the seller you%26#039;re not verified and are going through the verification. Any seller will wait it out a day or two.
• bidding is totally separate from paying unless it%26#039;s a buy it now only item - just bid on it and pay when your paypal acct gets cleared for use
