If you took an honest inventory, would stuff you need or stuff you want win?

If you took an honest inventory, would stuff you need or stuff you want win? Of the stuff you specifically own, how much of it do you actually need. How much do you want. And of the stuff you need, how much of it was overdone? (Meaning, I will concede need for a television, but a 60%26quot; widecreen is hardly a need.) So I guess my basic question is how extravagant are you?

as a backpacker all i need is my gear and food! and some trails!

the rest are wants!
tv, car, pets,

most of my stuff is want%26#039;s as most!
my car is very convinant to get me to work.. but isn%26#039;t needed i have legs! and can walk!

i guess i don%26#039;t need my tv either it%26#039;s a nice one tho! but i do appeaciate it!

i guess to fully answer your question I appreachiate the things that i have and worked hard to get them! but all of them are wants or helps fill that need of wantings or is convinant..
as a backpacker it makes you appreaciate these things even more!

I am very practical. I feel richer for it. :-) There are lots of things I would like but I recognize that I really don%26#039;t need them. I%26#039;m so glad for online shopping because I can shop and then not feel guilty when I don%26#039;t buy most of it.

My husband has lamented about me but I know he thinks it%26#039;s a good thing because I%26#039;m a discerning shopper. I%26#039;d rather have money in the back and have some security.

edit: This is a tricky question. I guess we only need the necessities so I%26#039;m good. There isn%26#039;t much that I really need that I don%26#039;t have. I have a few things that I want. I cannot live without my keyboard and music stuff. I love music. I would also say my exercise stuff. Staying in shape is important to me. 0% 0 Votes
I definitely buy more %26quot;want%26quot; items than %26quot;need%26quot; items. I never use credit cards, loans or install payments for those items though. I always make sure that I have the money to buy it outright, rather than racking up debt. That%26#039;s how I justify it. 0% 0 Votes
Hmmmmm. If you go back to Thoreau, I%26#039;m 99% extravagant. But in general terms of others in my age group, I would like 50%. I%26#039;m not too bad, I don%26#039;t have a 60%26quot; screen and I don%26#039;t have the biggest and best, but there is plenty I don%26#039;t need. 0% 0 Votes
