  • No. When you give money to family, always think of it as just that... a gift. If they pay you back, that%26#039;s bonus. But that%26#039;s probably never going to happen. So if you don%26#039;t want to *give* him money, don%26#039;t do it. 0% 0 Votes
  • Don%26#039;t expect to receive ANY money back...you will be sorely disappointed!

I try not to lend money, because it creates a lot of hard feelings between the lender and the lendee. On the same note, I don%26#039;t borrow money either. 0% 0 Votes
  • Never lend any friend or family member money because it will probably be the last time you%26#039;ll be talking to them. Even if you give it as a gift, they always come back for more. Retired bill collector 35 years 0% 0 Votes
  • Either give him nothing, or give without expecting repayment. This is the only way to preserve your relationship. 0% 0 Votes
  • well I%26#039;m guessing that it can%26#039;t be more than $50. I would trust him - he IS your brother - BUT make sure your mom knows about it so that she can make sure you get your money back! 0% 0 Votes
